Spring Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon & Aquabike
Description The USAT sanctioned Spring Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon & Aquabike is the second multi sport sprint event of the season in San Diego. With a calm bay swim and a flat bike and run course, the Spring Sprint is the perfect race to kick off your season. Whether you are an experienced triathlete or duathlete preparing for the season, or a first timer looking for a fun race in which to participate, the Spring Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon & Aquabike on Mission Bay is for you! DISTANCES Sprint Triathlon (13 yrs & older): 1/4 mile swim - 10 mile bike - 3 mile run Sprint Duathlon (13 yrs & older): 1 mile run - 10 mile bike - 3 mile run Sprint Aquabike (13 yrs & older): 1/4 mile swim - 10 mile bike (Your finish time is at the transition area after completing the bike portion, then head over to the finish line to return your timing chip and join the party!) Mini Sprint Triathlon (11 yrs & older): 200 yard swim - 6 mile bike - 1.5 mile run Itsy Bitsy Triathlon (7-10 yrs old): 100 yard swim - 3 mile bike - 3/4 mile run All distances award points for the San Diego Triathlon Series!

Comments Directions to Expo, Parking, & Finish Line: Bonita Cove Park, Mission Bay (located off West Mission Bay Dr.). Take I-5 to the Sea World Dr. exit. Go west on Sea World Dr. to West Mission Bay Dr, go west. Race site will be on the left hand side in Bonita Cove Park. Directions to Swim start, Late Registration (Sun ONLY), & Transition Area: Ventura Cove Park, Mission Bay (located off West Mission Bay Dr.). Take I-5 to the Sea World Dr. exit. Go west on Sea World Dr. to West Mission Bay Dr, go west. Ventura Cove will be on your right hand side, parking is located across the street at Bonita Cove Park.
