Last fall was our inaugural LATC Club Race & Social. It was a such a huge success that we thought we would do it again this year!!
The Club Race is a MEMBERS ONLY race and lunch social extravaganza. This year we will be holding our Club Race and Social at Hansen Dam.
The race offers 3 super sprint start times. Members may choose to do one, two, or all three races. You can do them solo or do a relay. This is your race.
Here is an opportunity to really work on your transition splits and over all speed. It’s like the ocean swim circuits but instead these race circuits are focused on technique.
This year we will have two very special guests that will offer tips and advice for all who attend……
Olympian athlete and Ironman superstars Michellie Jones and
Chris McCormack aka Macca!!!

Cost:
The Race itself is FREE for Members.
There is a park entry fee and BBQ cost of only $20 for members. Park entry fee is per car.
Bring family members/friends to the BBQ and social for only $10 per person more. Kids 7 and under eat for free.
How Do I Sign Up You Ask??
1. Go to the polls - http://www.latriclub.com/members/poll_rsvp_
2. Hit RSVP, pay your one-time fee at THE CLUB RACE - Athlete Registration & Lunch
3. After paying your entry/bbq fee, RSVP for the slot or slots you would like to race in.
4. Next, if you plan to bring any guests you can purchase lunch tickets under
THE CLUB RACE - Lunch & Social for just $10/person.
5. Once you have RSVP'd for the Club race please go to back to the poll/RSVP's and let us know whether you want meat/turkey/veggie burger so we know what how much we need to buy for the BBQ.
Our Club Race is sanctioned by USAT. For current USAT members, there is no additional cost, just show your USAT card upon check in. For non-USAT members, annual membership is encouraged or you can pay the one-day fee upon check in ($12 adult/$10 youth 17 & Under).
Volunteers:
We need volunteers to help make this happen! We are asking everyone to pitch in and volunteer at some point during the day so everyone has a chance to participate. Event schedule and more info to come on the club website.
