Known as one of the most beautiful races in the world, IRONMAN Austria has become legendary among athletes. Klagenfurt (Austria) is situated at one end of the beautiful Lake Wörthersee with an average temperature of 22° C. After swimming, the athletes bike through the scenic landscape of Carinthia. The bike course, which has a „Tour de France“ atmosphere, with two steep climbs on each loop. The run course along the lakeside and across the city is mainly flat and shaded.
