| Description |
Swimming a mile after the Ocean Swim Clinic. For those doing Oceanside, this clinic will be great to practice open water swim starts.
Please RSVP on the LATC website at (http://www.latriclub.com/members/poll_rsvp_detail.php?id=1784). If you sign up, and then need to cancel, please remove your name from the RSVP list allowing others to attend.
Bryan Mineo, Swim coach and owner of Mineo Athletics, will be conducting a clinic focused on developing proper open water mechanics and tactics. As a group you will learn how to sight efficiently, master an in-water race start, as well as other valuable skills to instill confidence in your open water swimming.
We ask that you can swim 300 meters non-stop freestyle in a pool, in order to attend
This Ocean Swim Clinic is free, but only open to LATC members
Wear a bright colored swim cap
Start Time: 7:00 a.m. (Ready to swim)
Parking: 72 metered spaces (bring plenty of Quarters because that's all the meters' take). Parking Costs are $0.25 per 12 minutes or $1.25 per hour - so plan accordingly.
*You can find some parking in the surrounding neighborhood as well
Meet at the bottom of the stairs that lead to the beach. Benches are on your left to get ready.
