***UPDATE*** The swim is cancelled and we're only biking (due to possible rain and I've got a bad cold and can't swim).
We’re heading to Long Beach again for a 55 mile bike ride. Meet at the corner of East 2nd Street and Bay Shore Ave.) for a 55 mile ride along the San Gabriel River Trail (SGRT).
Start time: 7:00 a.m. (ready to ride)
Where: Bayshore Aquatic Playground Park
(Corner of Bay Shore Ave. & E. 2nd St. in Long Beach)
Distance: Bike: 55 miles

We’ll head out as a group to make sure everyone finds the SBRT and then you can take off and go your own speed. If you know the route, okay to take off on your bike ride as soon as you're done swimming. If this is your first time on the SGRT, here are a couple things to know (approximate mile markers):
Mile 6, cross over white bridge (left)…do not go straight
Mile 16, water & restrooms
Mile 22, cross over river to other side
Mile 23.5, keep right on the bike path
Mile 27.5, turn around (approximately 3 miles past the 60 fwy)
