| Description |
The swim course will take place in Elk Lake, a popular local spot for all kinds of water recreation. A single-loop course for all distances, a beautiful place for a race. Average temperatures are fairly warm, while still allowing for the use of wetsuits. Home of the Canadian national rowing team, Elk Lake is known for its calm waters.
The bike course begins at Hamsterly Beach, heading out onto the scenic rolling roads of the Saanich Peninsula. Athletes will ride through three beautiful municipalities, with safety ensured by local police, professional traffic control personnel and over 60 volunteer marshals. The course includes two stocked aid stations.
The Saunders Subaru Victoria Triathlon is well known for having one of the best run courses out there. Elk Lake has a 10km trail network that follows the shores of the lake through beautiful wooded parkland. Enjoy soft, shaded trail with no pavement pounding your legs! The run course includes 5 aid fully stocked aid stations
