Ironman Cozumel
Description 2.4 Mile Swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run t will be a point to point ocean swim bordering the Cozumel Coral Reef. The swim start will be one massive start in water, waist deep. Athletes will swim 100 meters into the ocean to the buoy and turn to their left to swim approximately 3.5 kilometers in straight line with the current on favor to the buoy after Chankanaab’s pier. Then athletes must turn left and swim to the third buoy, in which they will turn to the left again and swim straight to the swim exit at Chankanaab park. he bike course is all flat and paved, starts at the CHANKANAAB parking lot (T1), and finishes at T2 next to Cozumel's City Hall in the heart of downtown. You´ll have to complete 3 laps along the Highway around the Island in a counter clockwise direction. Every lap will go by the City Hall, between T2 and the finish line. The run course is all flat and paved, it passes many of Cozumel's signature sites, including its waterfront walk, Downtown main plaza, and historic neighborhoods. The entire course will be marked every 1 mile and every 5k. The run finishes at the City Hall plaza in downtown Cozumel.
