| Description |
The competition venue is set within the vibrant, urban landscape of downtown Chicago. With the finish and elite transition area at Grant Park’s Buckingham Fountain – considered to be the front door of the city – athletes and spectators will enjoy big-city attractions along the picturesque shoreline of Lake Michigan’s Monroe Harbor.
Throughout the technically-challenging bike and run courses, athletes will pass many iconic landmarks.
Both the elite and age-group races will finish at Buckingham Fountain, located in the center of Grant Park. It is one of the largest fountains in the world and features regular water shows and evening color-light shows.
