Comments Mark 3/23/13 on your calendar cyclists because you don't want to miss this absolutely amazing road cycling event! Whether you are a competitive cyclist or a weekend warrior there is something for you. Not only is there the Title Malibu 7 Canyon 100 Mi Event but there will be the The Metric Century , Half Century and 75-mile Relay Events as well. The Metric Century and Half Century Events will follow the same route as the first half of the Full Century course then return to the Start/Finish area Via PCH. The Relay event Starts and Finishes in the same area as the other events but follows a fast, flat to rolling,18.5 mile loop along the coast so bring your time trial gear. The race will begin at beautiful Zuma Beach in Malibu and then, as the event name implies, it will take you through the majestic Malibu Mountains via seven iconic Southern California canyons: Latigo Canyon, Encinal Canyon, Decker Canyon, Mulholland Canyon, Little Sycamore Canyon, Yerba Buena Canyon, Deer Creek Canyon and Potrero. During Your ride you'll have the opportunity to experience the unparalleled beauty of Malibu as you ride the back Mountain roads through the Santa Monica National Forest. You will ride past lush vineyards, world famous ranches ,exclusive golf courses, incredible architecture, beatiful lakes, gorgeous coastline and stunning Mountain vistas while navigating through this fully supported course. During the 100 Km Event you will go through 4 fully stocked and staffed aid stations. The 50 Mile Event will have 3 fully stocked and staffed aid stations. The 100 Mile Will pass through 6 fully stocked and staffed aid stations. Our mission is to make this ride as enjoyable as possible. All you'll need is some resolve and your bike, let us take care of the rest. However even with all its beauty and support you'll find this course to be as difficult as it is beautiful. It may not be the most difficult century out there, will let you be the judge, but it will definitely present a serious challenge. This will be a ride to remember.
