Santa Barbara Long Course
Description The Santa Barbara Long Course Triathlon is one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in the country. It's unique distance gives athletes a great opportunity to step it up and test their speed on a longer course.

The generally calm 1 mile ocean swim leads way to a deceptively challenging 34 mile bike course and solid 10 mile run course.

Long Course Bike Route Has Changed!

There are also a Women's-only Sprint, Co-Ed Sprint and Parent-Child races!

Aquabike: *new for 2012*

This new category, recently recognized by USA Triathlon, allows a participant to complete the swim and bike portion only. This category is available only for our long course. Age group results will be given to USA Triathlon for national rankings. The participants will all leave in the same wave - possibly with other long course participants.
