| Description |
Athletes will begin with a 1.2-mile swim in the calm waters of Prairie Creek Reservoir. The 56-mile bike course takes athletes onto closed state highways for a flat ride through rural Indiana. The race finishes with a challenging run around the south side of Prairie Creek Reservoir over rolling country roads.

The swim takes place in Prairie Creek Reservoir. The 1275 acre body of water will have an expected water temperature of 78 degrees. Due to the size of Prairie Creek Reservoir, the water temperature can change quickly race week so participants are advised to bring a wetsuit if they have one. The water is usually very calm, but heavy winds can cause the water to become slightly choppy.
