The course begins with the famous "Kelp Crawl" swim from Lovers Point; swimmers are warned that "assistance from Sea Otters or Sea Lions is strictly prohibited." The cycling course runs along the coast from Lover's Point to the edge of Pebble Beach, offering spectacular views along with an almost flat course. The similarly flat running course stretches along the coast from Lover's Point to the Monterey Bay Aquarium; runners can take inspiration from either the cheering crowd or the amazing scenery as they finish the event. |
