Leadville Trail 100 Mountain Bike Race
Description One of the most well-known -- and difficult -- mountain bike races in the country. The 100-mile out-and-back course is in the midst of the Colorado Rockies. Its low point is 9,200 feet; its high point is Columbine Mine at 12,424 feet. The majority of the race is on forest trails with some mountain roads.
