| Description |
5K Run/Walk: A beautiful course through Loyola Marymount University’s campus. A wonderful place to bring the whole family with plenty of visibility to cheer for the runners. The race is followed by a large expo at the finish line. The course is stroller friendly, no pets allowed. All runners will receive complimentary fruit, water, & bagels. Please note there is no bag check area. Register by May 10th before the price goes up!
T-Shirts & Participant Bags: Participants will receive a free t-shirt with logo and participant bag filled with promotional items and coupons while supplies last.
Team Running: Great way to motivate each other and compete too! Must have a minimum of four runners and a maximum of ten to sign up as a team. The first four to cross the finish line count towards the competition, allowing teams to be mixed with walkers and runners. Teams are a great way to promote your organization or business. School teams, business groups, Mom's clubs, kids sports teams, girl scouts.... Join a team, be a team captain and compete for a cash prize!
Chip Timing: In order to give you a more accurate tracking this year’s event will be chip timed!
Kids 1K: Kids 8 and under can run the 1K, which will be timed but not competitive. All kids 1k participants will receive a t-shirt & kids treat bag. Remember many kids run the 5K which is only 3.1 miles. We recommend the 5K for kids 8 and up. Parents can cheer along this shorter course. This event will be held after everyone finishes the 5K event.
Virtual Runner: Can’t be there? With a donation of $10 or more you can be a Virtual runner and even receive a
t-shirt at packet pickup while supplies last.
Prizes: Medals will be given to the top three winners in each age category. Overall male and female winners will receive a prize, to be announced at medal ceremony.
Top teams in Adult, Teen, Children, and Mixed Adult/Child categories will receive a cash prize. |
