Malibu Day AND Night Trail Run
Description Join us for our 2nd annual Malibu Daytime and Moonlight Madness trail runs! You have the option of running the daytime event, distance of your choice, starting at 8AM, the Moonlight distance of your choice, starting at 6PM, OR, you can be a trail champion and run BOTH of them! We will have something special for those of you who run both events, including a very nice lunch if you choose to hang out with us at the start/finish basecamp for the afternoon. If you sign up for both you can change to whatever distances you feel like the day of the event. 10Km (8AM & 6PM) Run participants along the Ultra course to the trail intersection along the Serrano Cyn Trail at 650' (3.2 miles from the start). This alternate route would be an out and back and only climb 650'. Half Marathon (8AM & 6PM) Same 4.6 miles as the Ultra to the Old Boney Trail intersection. From there, runners turn left on Old Boney to Big Sycamore Cyn Trail (main dirt road through the canyon). They run south along Big Sycamore Cyn Trail to the Backbone right turn up to Overlook Trail. Then, runners run down Overlook Trail to Scenic Trail and down Scenic Trail. Packet pickup will be available the day of the events at the start/finish as well as on Friday, March 9th, from 1PM-9PM at SportsByEve. All participants will receive shirts, medals and some excellent products from all our sponsors at the event raffle!
