The AVIA Wildflower Long Course Triathlon has been selected by USA Triathlon as a qualifier event for the ITU World Long Course Triathlon Championships to be held in Henderson, Nevada on November 5th. The top five finishers in each age group (rolling down to 10 spots) will be eligible for the World Championships. With the World Championships being held in the United States and especially on the west coast many qualifiers from the AVIA Wildflower Triathlon will want to compete in the world championships. “We are excited to be a qualifier for the ITU World Championships,” says Terry Davis, founder and CEO of Tri-California Events. “It will increase the quality of competition of an already competitive event.”

Those that secure qualifying spots will be contacted following the race by USAT. You do not need to be present at Awards Ceremony to accept your spot.
