The San Francisco Triathlon at Treasure Island has been selected as the Championship race for the USAT Southwest Region.
All Olympic distance entrants are eligible and no special registration is necessary.
Best known for its scenic looped course boasting breath taking views of the Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and San Francisco's Skyline, the San Francisco Triathlon features two days of triathlon racing along with a 2 day Sports Fitness Expo! Again this year is a 5K and 10K fun run on the same running course as the triathlon. Runners will start on California Avenue and run either two laps for the 5K or three laps for the 10K. They will finish in the same finishing chute as the triathlons. What a great way to become part of the San Francisco Triathlon at Treasure Island.
