The Surf City USA Marathon, half-marathon, and new 1 Mile for Mobility will take place on February 6th, 2011 - Superbowl Sunday - in beautiful Huntington Beach, CA.
The Run for Mobility is a partnership with the Surf City USA Marathon where runners make their miles matter by raising funds for wheelchairs. 2011 is our 6th annual Run for Mobility, and we're looking forward to another wonderful year!
Help Free Wheelchair Mission raise the much needed funds for wheelchairs so we can continue our mission of sending them to the people in developing countries who desperately need them. Every $59.20 raised lifts another person out of the dirt, off of the ground, and into a their brand new wheelchair!
Our 2011 goal is to transforming 5,000 lives by raising $300,000 - enough money to give each of these people the pricess gift of mobility. |
