This is the 3rd and last of the Renegade Racing organized pre-rides for the M3 Long & Olympic Bike Courses to give athletes a chance to check out or just practice the course. All levels welcome, RSVP requested.
WE HAVE CHANGED THE COURSE AND WILL COVER THE NEW COURSE THIS WEEKEND, KEEP READING FOR NEW INFO:
•Saturday, September 25 - 56 & 24.8 Mile routes. Ride as much or as little of the course as you wish.
Start at the Castaic Sports Complex and be ready to roll by 7:00am (FREE parking at CSC). We will head North to the Swim Start/Transition/and new FINISH at Castaic Lake for a short stop and talk then proceed North out onto the course. New maps should be posted on the website shortly.
If you want to pay the $11 to park at Castaic Lake lot 6, be ready to join us and roll by 7:15am.
Water, HEED & support will be available but riders should come prepared with 2 water bottles, food and salt replacement tablets. Athletes gearing choices should reflect their ability to climb. Either climbing gears or triple chain rings are recommended.
Bring your running shoes! After the ride we will lead a couple groups out for a preview of the run course.
