Take me back to those dark dawn rides
Tiptoeing away from my temple of dreams and
My partner in peaceful slumber
To meet the chill in fearless battle
To conquer each hill alone
Take me back to that frigid plunge
A world away from most
Solitary silence
Only broken by tempoed breaths
A symphony for my mind
Take me back to the run on the sun
Single silhouette of cat and mouse
My shadow chases me down
And take me back to the endless journey
Even after crossing the line
Take me back in silent meditation
Take me back to being my best
Even when no one is looking
