As one of the founders of the LA Tri Club, Larry has enjoyed watching the club go from nine dedicated people developing the idea to over 1,800 members in 10 years.

Larry serves as both Secretary and PR Committee Manager. He is also the creator and Race Director for the LA Tri Club fundraiser event, the Coast 2 Coast Swim Challenge.

Larry's involvement in the sport started in the early 90's when he was challenged by a group of friends to try the Hermosa Beach Tri. He remembers diving in the ocean without a wetsuit and thinking, "Have I gone Nuts?" and hoping he wouldn't not drown. Since that day Larry has competed in every distance from a short sprint to Ironman Florida. He reports his goal has always been to compete at the highest level and not just race to finish, so when he won his age group at the National Championships in '03 he felt that all this hard work had really paid off!

Outside triathlon Larry is the President of LITCO Marketing a full service advertising agency located in Santa Monica.
