Vanessa joined LA Tri Club in 2010 after being introduced to LA Tri Club at a Tri Chicks run.  Not knowing anything about Triathlon, how to swim or even ride a bike, Vanessa decided to jump right in and started taking lessons to prepare herself for her 1st triathlon.

In 2011 Vanessa was nominated as the LA Tri Club Newbie of the Year for accomplishing so much in her first year in the sport. She has been an integral member of the LA Tri Club with her volunteer time with the several different committees including the social committee, workouts  and the Tri Chicks. 

Vanessa is a mother of two young boys who have travelled and trained with her during her races.  Vanessa has included both children in participating with the sport which are truly embracing. 

Outside of the sport Vanessa is a self employed professional who owns a property management company in Santa Monica and has helped many of our members find a home.

Vanessa has and continues to inspire many people by her dedication to her business, her kids and the sport.
